Market Trends:

The metro Denver residential real estate market is nowhere near equilibrium, but the hot seller’s market is showing signs of cooling at this time. The reasons could be mostly the usual seasonal slowdown during some fall and winter months, or it might be a shift in the overall market.

New home starts are up in 2021 over 2020, and prices have been trending downward in recent months. Having said that, the ~20% year-over-year gain the area realized over the past 12 months was not sustainable, and not healthy for the overall residential real estate market.
